Wyatt Grant is an artist and designer who lives and works in Asheville, North Carolina. While he specializes in painting murals and large scale commissions.

Born and raised in Memphis, TN, Wyatt left for the School of the Art Institute of Chicago to receive his BFA in 2011. Shortly after graduating started exhibiting work in galleries and taking on freelance art commissions and design-driven projects, mostly driven by his interest in the Chicago music scene. The cross-pollination between his painting practice and design sensibilities eventually led to his first large-scale mural commissions. His work emphasizes an open exchange between painting and design sensibilities, met with a perpetual interest in abstraction, symbols, patterns, and narrative building.

Since moving to Asheville, NC in 2020, Wyatt has painted over a dozen public murals for local businesses including Moog, The Admiral, Baby Bull, Citizen Vinyl, and the West Asheville Family Vet. During this time, he’s also collaborated with national brands like Lululemon, Parks Project, Teton Gravity Research, and The Ecology Center. Wyatt currently lives and works in Asheville, operating from his Woodfin studio for three years and counting.
